By accessing this site you agree to the terms and conditions which follow. If you do not agree to them you have no right or license to access this website.

Delivery

We will arrange for delivery of the goods ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order. Some of our furniture is made to order and so delivery times can be longer.

Delivery will be arranged through 3rd party couriers. Where you believe you have suffered loss or damage as a result of the delivery we will use our reasonable endeavours to put you in contact with that company so that you can pursue your grievance with them. To the full extent available under law we will not be liable for any loss or damages, direct or consequential, caused by the actions, inactions or negligence of that company or its staff.

  • Proof of delivery:

In choosing not to sign, you confirm that the 3rd party couriers can leave your package(s) at the shipping address provided by you without obtaining a signature for proof of delivery. You will therefore take full responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur once your order has been delivered.

Returns & Cancellations

We endeavour to ensure that you receive fabrics in the best possible condition however all items should be inspected upon receipt. In the event that that you have received faulty goods please contact our customer service team immediately. Should there be any damage please include photos of the item as it will help our team assess the issue.

Lampshades
As our lampshades are made to measure, if, after having placed your order, you change your mind for whatever reason, you may not cancel after placing the order.

In the event that you have received faulty goods we will aim to arrange for a replacement to be sent out. For returns, please notify our customer service team within 14 days of receipt of your order. Further the order should then be returned to us within 14 days.

All lampshades should be returned to us in the state sent to you. Please take care with them ensuring they are protected before sending back, ideally in their original packaging. If you are unable to send the lampshade(s) back in the original packaging please ensure that the goods are wrapped in waterproof packaging. Please do not use thin packaging such as bin liners. A refund or replacement cannot be issued if goods are badly wrapped and are soiled or damaged whilst in transit.

Should the fault lie within the product itself a full replacement or refund will be offered up to 30 days for faulty or damaged goods at no extra cost to you.

Patchwork Cushions ThrowsYou have 14 calendar days from receipt of your items in which to advise us that you do not want to keep them. We do not accept returns of any items purchased after this period has passed unless faulty. Should you wish to return an item please write to us through the our Contact Us page on our website (woodbros.co.uk/contact-us). Please note you are responsible for covering the cost of of returning items to us.

Fabric by MetreFabrics are cut specifically to your requirements and so cancellations/refunds/exchanges cannot be accepted. We will where possible ask the fabric supplier to accept your order back however this is subject to their acceptance and not guaranteed.

Factory OutletFor goods that have been purchased at our showroom, you will have been able to examine the product, and as such there is no right to cancel/return the order.

For goods purchased either by phone, internet or remote, you may not have been able to physically examine the product and as such you will have a cancellation period to enable you to examine the product. Where you have requested delivery of the product to you, you may cancel the contract within 14 working days of the goods being delivered to you, beginning with the day after the day on which the item is delivered. Where you have opted to collect the product you may cancel the contract within 14 working days of the agreed date of collection of the product.

Should you receive the goods before you cancel your order you must send the goods back to our contact address as soon as possible. This at your own cost and risk further goods must be returned in the condition in which they were received.

Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract any sum paid to us will be repaid to you as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your cancellation notification provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return any goods which you have received or do not pay the costs of delivery we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods from the amount to be repaid to you.

On occasions Wood Bros (Furniture) Ltd may discontinue an item of furniture. Should this item be sold out we may not be able to replenish the stock. Once an item is sold out, it will be taken off the website at the earliest opportunity. Where an item you request information for or order is out of stock, you will be contacted. 

Payment Terms:

The supplier is Wood Bros Furniture Ltd of Marsh Lane, Ware,  Hertfordshire, SG12 9QH. 

We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. 

Product Information:

We have taken great care to ensure each product is represented as accurately as possible. Please note that what you will see will depend on your monitor’s display. For each product we are unable to guarantee that the images you see are an accurate representation of the actual products. The content of this website is presented ‘as is’, and we reserve the right to correct or update product information at any time without prior notification.

This website is owned and controlled by Wood Bros (Furniture) Ltd. Unless otherwise noted, all information featured on this website (whether text or images), is protected by copyrights and trademarks, and is owned by Wood Bros (Furniture) Ltd.

Notices 

Unless otherwise expressly stated in these terms and conditions, all notices (including any complaints or requests for after sales services) from you to us must be in writing and sent to our contact address at Customer Services, Wood Bros Furniture Ltd, Marsh Lane, Ware, Herts, SG12 9QH. 

Events beyond our control 

We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or networks, flood, fire, explosion or accident. 

Invalidity 

If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected. 

Third party rights 

Except for our affiliates, directors, employees or representatives, a person who is not a party to the agreement has no right under the UK Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of this agreement but this does not affect any right or remedy of a third party that exists or is available apart from that Act. 

Governing Law 

The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us. 

Entire agreement

These terms and conditions, together with our agreed sale price, and any sales order acknowledgement, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by us. Nothing said by any sales person on our behalf should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by us. Save for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation we shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading. 

Your privacy and personal information

Your privacy and personal information are important to us. Any personal information that you provide to us will be dealt with in line with our Privacy Notice, which explains what personal information we collect from you, how and why we collect, store, use and share such information, your rights in relation to your personal information and how to contact us and supervisory authorities if you have a query or complaint about the use of your personal information.
